Huangshan 黄山, Yellow Mountain

In October 2023 we visited Yellow Mountain, a mountain range located in the south of the Chinese province of Anhui. Since 1990 it has been considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

There we saw pine trees, stones shaped like curled clouds, and we were also able to see the “sea of clouds”, an atmospheric situation that characterizes this mountain range and has been highly appreciated by Chinese painters and poets for more than 2000 years.
