Chrysanthemum, the imperial flower (1st edition) Practical introductory mizuhiki workshop Taught by: Corazón de Washi ------------------------------------------------------- Corazón de Washi is organizing, together with Shodo Creativo, a new workshop aimed at young people and adults interested in Japanese culture who want to get started in the mizuhiki technique through the most representative flower of the month of September, the chrysanthemum. ***No prior knowledge is necessary*** Mizuhiki is a technique for making knots with paper threads whose origins date back to the 7th century and which currently allows the creation of everything from simple flat knots to spectacular three-dimensional figures representative of Japanese culture.
